Our Commitment
WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN EDUCATING YOUTH/GRADUATES
Since the early 1980’s we have successfully implemented a citizen training programme, in conjunction with Government and non government agencies. This training provided citizens with work experience and on the job training whilst attending university studying for their degree in quantity surveying. Thereafter graduates are encouraged to join the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and complete their professional assessment examinations. The RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) comprises a 12 to 33 month training programme under the guidance of an in-house training manager. Two of our Directors currently act as APC councilors for RICS assisting and implementing training programmes.
To date we have assisted numerous citizen members of staff to obtain their degrees in quantity surveying. Six of our former employees left the firm and have set up, and are now principals, in their own Quantity Surveying firms.

Our financial and Legal Status
We are a citizen owned company
K&D operated as a Partnership until 2000, when in, order to involve citizens in the ownership of the firm commenced operations as a limited liability (Proprietary) company. In line with Government Citizen Empowerment polices K&D’s shares were fully transferred to Our Citizen Director Paul Bante in 2015 and now K&D is 100% Citizen Owned Firm.
Late Allen Kille was the founder in 1968. Brain Davey, Paul Bante and Arumugan Sasitharan have a critical roles that ensure projects finish on time. They have a a wide range of skills, experience, knowledge and essential qualifications to ensure project completion.
